Academic Council
The Academic Council acts as the University’s principal academic authority responsible for the maintenance of standards of instruction, education and examination within the University.
The Academic Council provides advice to the Board of Governor and the Board of Management on the University’s academic planning activities, policies and procedures for the instruction, training and research. It also recommends on institutes’ special scholarships, fellowships, medals, rewards and distinguishes academic awards to be conferred by the University.
The Vice-chancellor is the Chairman and the Registrar is the Member Secretary of the Academic Senate.
